keep an eye on her until she starts working again. if she's still got it in her head that she can pick up and run, then she will do just that when you're not looking. glad things went so smoothly this time, but in my mind it sounds like she still can't be trusted about the situation yet.
Is the standard statment that neither parent can remove the child without the consent of the other or a court order overriding that consent.
Which means if she did do such a thing, the when the RCMP find her they bring Melly back and Amy goes to prison for kidnapping.
So, not too terribly likely.
Atop that, Amy has had someone do this to her with her daughter. I don't think she could justify to herself any way in which she could do something that she loathed so much when it was done to her. Of course I've been wrong about what I thought she could justify to herself before...
