Still, too bad there are 4 dumb-asses on the court who can't read the plain text of our governing document.
I mean honestly, if the government gets to set or eliminate the 'right' at will then it's not really a right, is it? It's a priviledge which is not at all the same thing.
And hello - 'shall not be infringed upon?' It's still infringed upon, and in fairness probably for good reason as I doubt the Founding Fathers ever imagined a metroplex like Chicago, but even so.
The original idea was that people could and should stand up to the government if it became too oppressive. That doesn't work anymore due to technology but giving the government the right to limit that pretty make makes it a worthless clause.
