That's my big concern, that Blatter the tosser gets off with this one.

End of the day England were terrible, truly shocking, they've sucked all tournament and they sucked today. Every weakness i've highlighted was brutally exposed - the need for 2 quality central defenders, the need for a natural defensive midfielder, the need for a striker and the fact that Lampard and Gerrard can't play together. The only weakness that wasn't exposed was the keeper, James saved them from a worse hiding today.
Throw in Germany's pace and clinical passing and that was that. Quality attacking from them, though being a young team they do need to tighten up at the back, but that will come with time. They could easily have scored 7 or 8.
So i'm glad that Germany scored a lot as it will hopefully stop the English press going on about the goal that never was, and instead reflect on how bad they were and why. But i'm disappointed as it may allow Blatter to sneak away from his quite frankly wrong one-man crusade against technology.

Deutschland über England.

I am pleased that the goal differential was more than that one goal. It should have been 4-2.

Well . . . you are of Irish extraction. It is just for you to be happy that England lost.

So is Sepp Blatter, I would imagine.

Disallowing England's second goal was karma.

Argentina just has too much power. Milito was absurd this year at Inter.

Argentina, yes. Milito, doesn't look like it so far.

It's not that I'm looking at Inter players.

Get to the final they might, but it won't be a stroll.

My thoughts exactly. Germany is officially never allowed to moan about "Das Wembley-Tor" again. *NM*

I'm fine with a bit of overconfidence, but playing without a defence was probably a bit too much. *NM*

Did they really? I didn't notice. Maybe because there was too much shouting at the telly.

If you've memorised the lower-case code, just subtract 32 for the upper-case code.

Hm, interesting. I figured there probably was a code, but couldn't be bothered to look it up.
