I also think the US was sloppy on defense. England's a great team, but there were several mistakes made that just shouldn't have been. That first goal was basically a result of laziness because the defender didn't follow his man.

I thought the US did play a lot better on offense though. But I was disappointed to see them so content to walk away with a tie.
