I shouldn't have to ask the bartender to add cherries to any alcoholic drink or nonalcoholic drink. It should be automatically assumed that a drink comes with cherries, unless I ask for a drink with no cherries.

otherwise i can't see that they would know such a thing. most alcoholic drinks (meaning not beer) comes with citrus of some kind, not cherries. cherries are specifically reserved for certain mixes only and since i'm not a bartender i couldn't tell you which ones those are. but if you specifically asked for cherries in every drink and they still refused, then yes i can understand your frustration
