So my repeated use of "M$" in moondogs thread only makes things worse?

It doesn't bother me that people call Fox News biased because they are it is their stubborn refusal to see the bias in other news sources that I find lacking. Take Joel here for instance, he insist on blaming Fox for the war even though he is more then old enough to remember the run up to the war and he shouldn't need anyone to tell him that support for the war was widespread in the media. Of course that doesn’t fit his world view so he just practices creative remembering in order to make the facts fit what he believes.
But I'm sure it happens on all ends of the political spectrum.
Are there left-leaning news sources that criticized Bush for overspending and are now supporting Obama's spending? If so, that's just as hypocritical as Fox News. And yes, I do believe Fox News is hypocrticial, and it bothers me that there are a lot of people (not necessarily here, but in general) who don't see that, and simply swallow opinions whole. The same sort of thing on the left would also bother me.
But really, the only thing I wanted to get after was the whole mock-names phenomenon. I see it everywhere. Faux News, M$, Nobama, etc. etc. It's lazy, labelling, smacks of bias like nothing else, and I always find it hard to take people seriously when they do it.
Maybe it is all of those things, but for all that Weekend Update used to call itself "the fake news" that's how Fox strikes me. And M$ isn't that much of a stretch; they are, in the final analysis, a business: They don't make software, they make MONEY; software is just the best way they know to do that. Heck, I disagree with Nobama, but I can at least respect it; yeah, it's biased: Against Obama, which is kinda the point, that people using the word are completely opposed to Obama.
