I'm beginning to think this is a European defense mechanism that you people just reflexively say. Where on earth have I made any comment relating to America? You realize that the United States government also frequently does not represent the population of the country? Hell, it represents it even less than the UK in some aspects; the Executive branch is all-or-nothing for one party.
Your comments are very obviously framed in an American frame. The non-partisan bit, for example.
