He gets indignant when anyone "belittles the Holocaust" to his mind, yet he himself does it on a regular basis with his melodrama and the shameless way that he has used it as a tool for selling himself and his books.

His arrogance is inexcusable. As someone persecuted for his religion, he should be doubly careful not to forget that Jerusalem is holy to three religions. Instead, he thinks only about himself and only about his own religion.

Jerusalem is indeed a city that holds a special place for many people, just as the land around it is special for many. This is precisely why there is so much conflict surrounding its ownership. It is, however, a very complicated matter. Everyone has had a hand in shaping the present miserable situation - the Israelis, the Palestinians, Arab governments, Western governments, and even the UN itself.
