What exactly is Deputy PM supposed to entail? In here it's a title that's merely added on to a senior government portfolio, but sounds like that wouldn't be the case there - then what will his tasks be?
As an office of state it is a catchy title - when there has been one in the past it has been along with an actual role. I would expect Clegg to get a Government Department as well, otherwise it just means he gets to come along to Cabinet meetings and look pretty.
