I don't care for your analogy much, honestly. Computers are just machines we own. Why shouldn't we know how to run them? I view this as more akin to changing a light bulb. There's no reason to hire an electrician to change every bulb for you; you'll waste tons of money and time. Look into it for a little while, and you can do it yourself.
