Its interesting that they chose to do this now as the Storm were due to play a marquee game at their new stadium this weekend.

It will also be interesting to see who will pick the tab up on the costs of the new stadium as they have signed a long term contract there and either the NRL or News Corp may have to fork out ongoing cash for it.



I'm not really that up on what's happening in Melbourne, but aren't other games using that stadium as well? I thought Rugby and soccer was using it too?
