I mean, it has MORE impact when people who are actually in the army protest it. I think DADT is idiotic, but I'm a random guy from Long Island- it's not like I have first-hand knowledge.

Edit- now that I read Isaac's post on the rules of uniform use, I still feel kinda the same way.

Yes, technically it's a "political" issue, but I'm more likely to respect them for standing up for their views then to damn them for obeying some regulation.

You knew the policy when you signed up and earned that uniform


Eh.

Even if they signed up to defend Truth, Justice and the American Way, or even just to get a free engineering degree, that doesn't mean you have to agree 100% with a policy.

"Those are the rules, so deal with it until they change" is a very... armylike attitude to take.
