Can't remember is this was mentioned before but I think it is just now it occured to me - could it be an option to get an email telling people when they have received an NB?

Reinstate the RSS feed option?
Apple Mail has a spot for RSS feeds and that's how I always got my nb's... just like e-mails. ^_^
It seems like it would be less work for you, Ben, but I really have no idea.
I, for one, miss that option.
