Lost Password not sent to my email account

I had missplaced my password (I have found it since) and in a fit of impatience, I requested that a new password be email to my email (username: LTArmstrong email:LTArmstrong@peoplepc.com) address. The message box said that a new password had been sent, but it never arrived. I repeated this process several times, no new password ever arrived in my in-box. I finally re-regestered a new username (LTArmstrong1) at the same email address, and it promptly arrived in my in-box. I got to think that there is something buggy going on with the "Lost Password" system.
