Spaces missing between my text and copy/pasted text in post.

(I have no idea how to explain this.)
I copied text from a website into a post on the CMB - the one about Man Flu - and then added some lines before the text. They showed when I was writing the post but not in preview nor when it posted. I tried to add the spaces afterwards by editing but it still won't work.
There should be space after the italicised words "You're not alone" and before the first bolded heading.
I hope that's enough info.
