HTML not enabled in profiles

I don't know whether this is a bug or a purposeful omission, but I think it would be nice if rudimentary tags like bold, italics, underlining etc worked in the profiles.
There's actually a note in the Edit Profiles page saying HTML doesn't work there. Like wotmania. *NM*

Just because Wotmania did a silly thing, do we have to follow?
