I wasn't paying attention to whether it was a translation or not when I read it. I wondered a little but not enough to look at the first pages and find out.

Actually, I kept thinking as I read it that the style reminded my of when I read The Call of Cthulhu by H.P. Lovecraft. I didn't especially like the style of writing buy read it anyway. The same as I did with this one.
