I enjoyed it. I thought it had a great deal to say about humanity, about human relationships and about the way we perceive ourselves, assume the "other" will be like us and the way we even see other people through our own prism of understanding. The woman that Chris was with on Solaris was not Hari, but her as he saw her. People try to view Solaris, likewise, through their own understanding of what it "should" be.
Political correctness is the pettiest form of casuistry.
