Which always made me SO CONFUSED about Arwen. Pllp. He can do so much better.
Arwen is very cool when you think about it. She is 2000 years old.
and she also has to live on after Elessar dies, by herself, watching all of her offspring die as she roams the land. It's sad that even if she had implemented her choice, as a descendant of Elwing and Earandil, and chosen mortality instead of her elven ancestry, 700+ years before she met Elessar, she still would have outlived him. After all, didn't Elrond's brother, Elros, live to be 900+ something in Numenor?
Edit: Correction, I just looked up her life after Aragorn dies, and it appears she gives up her life a year after his death. Sorry for the confusion.

That's the point, though. Arthur's humanity is what makes him so admirable.

There isn't an "actual book." Le Morte d'Arthur is a relatively early compilation of legends. *NM*
