Not that that book is dramatically worse than the rest or anything, but all the same, there seem to be quite a few people who lose some enthusiasm for the series there. There's kick-ass moments like in all Erikson books, but his flaws are more obvious than in any other book, imho... maybe it's just me. And it kind of destroyed any hope I had left of getting another book to rival Memories of Ice.
