Most of my Russian history in college was more generally focused (Early & Imperial; Soviet). Though my upper level history course focusing on Imperial Russia, which was a great class, did cover the Revolution and the period immediately after.
Some of our texts in that class were:
A History of Russia by Nicholas Riasanovsky
Major Problems in the History of Imperial Russia by James
Cracraft (which included translated Russian essays, articles, documents).
