I posted on that 'other' site about once a year on Rawn's books.

The Dragon Prince was the book that got me interested in reading...atleast interested in reading more than Star Wars books and comic books.
The Dragon Star books were pretty good as well. The two books from the Mageborn series (The Ruins of Ambrai, The Mageborn Traitor) were both very good, but the third book was never completed due to life getting in the way. She has yet to restart work on it (it's been 13 years so far).
Rawn stopped writing for a number of years due to depression, but started writing again in 2005 or 2006. Her latest series of books The Spellbinder series is very different from her other works. It is set in contemporary times and follows a witch who can't cast spells but whose blood is used to make spells permanent. It is much more of a romance-type novel than anything. The first book is The Spellbinder and the second one is Fire Raiser. The third one is not out yet I believe.
Her website www.melanierawn.com still has an active user board, but it's not very active at the moment.

Castle: This is so weird. I dressed up as him for Halloween.
Beckett: Me too.
~When Castle and Beckett met Gene Simmons.

While I agree with most of the events you picked out, I disagree with your analysis *again spoilers*
