The Gathering Storm ~ Robert Jordan and Brandon Sanderson
- pretty good book, all in all. Looking forward to the next, which is not what I said about this one.
Twilight Ramblings ~ Adriana Maria de Reus-ten Haaf
This is my Oma's self-published book about her childhood in the Netherlands during WWII - and the things her father did in the Dutch Underground. It's amazing to have this book, and it made me giggle and cry, and feel really very proud.
A Mind to Murder ~ PD James
Nothing to talk about here. Just relaxation reading.
Watchman ~ Ian Rankin
Not anywhere near as good as his Rebus stuff. Still, fairly decent.
Magician ~ Raymond E Feist
Views are in the book club thread.
Little Hands Clapping ~ Dan Rhodes
Views are in my review.
Only Human ~ Tom Holt
Charming, delightful, funny.
Anthropology ~ Dan Rhodes
Amazing. 101 stories of love and loss, all of them just one paragraph long. Funny, gross, disturbing. Probably vintage Dan Rhodes.
The Original of Laura ~ Vladimir Nabokov
I liked the little that was there. Big pity it wasn't finished. Now trying to decide whether to punch out the cards and shuffle them before re-reading...
