Just read page 196-197 of DG paperback version, wow, Shadowthrone is really... Kellanved and Dancer is "The Rope".

I did not see that one coming at all, I mean...at all. Wow. This changes "Gardens of the Moon" into something else entirely. I have never been more shocked by anything I have read in a book. Which is strange since I have read a lot of books, but this one just blindsided me completely. Probably because it never acured to me that Shadowthrone and Cotillion were anything but two gods (or what seams to count as goods in this universe). Wow.

On another note I wish Steven Erikson had defined what being a good in this series really means. To me it seams like they are basically just really powerful immortal wizards (just like a lot of other characters who are not god’s seams to be).

Quick Ben implies it, but it is never said outright in GotM. I never made the connection but - 26/01/2010 12:49:37 AM 591 Views
That was sort of my point. - 26/01/2010 10:48:12 AM 631 Views
