Of the ones I have read (the View From the Mirror series, the Well of Echoes series, and the beginning of the Song of the Tears series) I prefer the View from the Mirror series, but they are all pretty good.
They are darker than the books I normally would read (as an example, some of my favourite authors / series are Terry Pratchett / Discworld, Raymond E Fiest / Midkemia novels, Isaac Asimov, David Eddings / Belgeriad and Mallorean, Robert Jordan / Wheel of Time), and have alot of twists and turns, but they keep me very interested, and the books are hard to put down.
Writing style itself I'm not sure, I tend to enjoy the story, and not notice the quality of writing so much, I am aware that some of the books / authors I like many people view as being of low quality.
