Right now i'm reading The Savage Mind in honor of deceased Monsieur Levi-Strauss, and i've also started reading Lakota folk tales rendered by Ella Deloria. i have another book on Lakota myth by the Dr. James Walker whose copious notes from his time on the Pine Ridge reservation in early 20th century provided a wealth of cultural information on the Oglala, and have been rendered into four volumes of independently organized information. Last month i finished Lakota Belief and Ritual.
i'm also trying to acquire more of a grasp on german and that is taking up some usual reading time.
