Those of you with whom I share a closer acquaintance are aware of what's been going on in my family, and how it has affected the completion of Keeper of the Mists, the second of the Absent Gods series.

As a way of tiding readers over until the release, which now looks like it will be spring of '10, I've posted a preview of about 175 pages on my blog.
