Like a lot of long series it's got it's painfully slow points.

But that's not as bad as the (so far) 4+ year wait for the next novel (which I understand has been out in Britian and NZ/OZ for some time now)
Given that Traitor's Knot was one of the slowest books in the series (if not the slowest) and it came out in 2005, I've pretty much given up on the series. Maybe if Stormed Fortress EVER comes out in PB in the States I might pick it up again.
