I'm just curios, since I don't believe I've seen her mentioned on here. Has anyone else read any of Jennifer Fallon's books? Hythrun Chronicles, Demon Child and Second Sons are a few of her trilogies.
And based on that I picked up the first book of the Hythrun Chronicles and was severely disappointed. I think that was her first published book? The difference in quality between that one and Second Sons was glaring.
I agree that Second Sons is the better series. I liked the Demon Child ones ok, but they weren't great. I did really like the other Hythrun books about the warlords though. They were a lot better. I want to read the Tide Lords but I've been waiting for them all to be realised as Paperbacks in the US.

I think that it was the Hythrun Chronicles that I read. I really enjoyed those books.
