There were a couple others. For instance, when he sees Denna after winning his pipes, he mentions the lovely green dress she is wearing. About a hundred pages later, she shows up again in a dress and he mentions how he's never seen her in anything but traveling clothes.

Also, close to the beginning of his time at University, he mentions how the nobleman (I forget his name right now) is the first person he's seen armed there. And again, a couple hundred pages later, he sees someone wearing a weapon and thinks it's the first time.

Like you said, little tiny things, but they were jarring for a story that was otherwise very engaging.
