It IS a stand alone. Jacob Send a noteboard - 17/11/2009 05:00:07 PM
But I wasn't sure if she'd want to read it, since technically, it's not a standalone novel. Sanderson is planning on writing at least one sequel to it. But it is a great book. I loaned the book to a friend of mine, and he loved it.

I don't believe the future book is a direct sequel. Rather, I believe the book will be another in the world with some of the same characters.

Technically, Warbreaker is a stand alone.
