I don't quite understand how I can have forgotten a book I've read which probably means I've only read Dune

It took me a while to get into and it was hard going for a while but I was really glad I stuck with it. I think a lot of what happened went over my head, although I like to think that's because I read it a good few years ago I really liked the ideas in the story and will definitely reread it one day and then move onto the others. I'm glad to hear that you liked others in the series better as I think I was partly glad I persued Dune because it's such a well known book, which wouldn't have such an influence for the others probably.

I watched the film version of it recently and wasn't very sure about it at all. I couldn't remember the book that well but I'm sure there was a lot of stuff in there that wasn't in the book. It really didn't help that Paul wasn't anything like I imagined - and also I know the guy who played him from Sex and the City first which *really* didn't help
