Now, I know you won't listen to me, but here's my advice.
Stop reading the series now.
No, I see you reaching for Wolves of the Calla. It's been so good so far, you say! And yes, it has. It's been truly excellent at times. But for your own sake, I suggest you pretend Stephen King never finished the series. Just one of those sad things, oh well, we shall live with our fond memories of what could have been.
I know you won't listen. I wouldn't have listened to me either.
In fairness, I've only read Books 5 and 6 so far, I haven't read the final book. But wow, Wolves of the Calla and Song of Susannah were not very good. At all. I found them to be essentially collections of catch phrases and shoehorned plot devices, and I'm afraid my eyes will start bleeding if I ever have to read another sentence of Calla-speak.
It is a downright shame what happened after Wizard and Glass, with King forcing himself to finish the series after his accident. Because the first four books were something special.
I've heard the last book is better than 5 and 6, at least. I just haven't summoned the courage to find out yet.

Charyou Tree gave me the same reaction. I only wish all six other books were as good. *NM*

The last book has gotten more mixed reviews than just about any other book I know.

IIRC, he's said he wishes he hadn't written it, or something similar. *NM*

That's silly. It's entirely decent. He might as well regret Wolves of the Calla *NM*
