I've noticed that, as with most things (food, music, etc), I can get into all kinds of genres, but I'm picky within those genres. Mysteries and a lot of gen fic have never done it for me. I will take the opportunity to look at what you've listed to see what I might be interested in trying. If you can recommend something, even other gen fic, let me know. I really like dark fantasy, thin tightrope between good and evil, three-dimensional characters, and, unfortunately, crying at the end. Whether out of joy or sadness, doesn't matter.
