This was one of the freebie books that tavi had posted sometime ago and i downloaded it just because it was free. It is book 1 of chronicles of chaos series and i have to say it is one of the shortest and most memorable books that i have read in a long time and hence i decided to write a review. This is my first attempt at reviewing anything so be kind ppl :D

The plotline is very simple and the story takes place about 200 years in our future and the stage is set in one of the moons of neptune. The main male lead is an average joe called John Bandicut who was once a pilot and now because of damage to his neurolink ( that is how pilots in that time fly their planes, space ships and what not) is grounded to work as a surveyor on triton (one of uranus's mooon). He comes in contact with an Alien object named transistor and an alien quarx who chooses him as a host. Here starts the wild ride to save earth from an impending doom (Comet hurling through the space).

The book was very fast paced and i have to say very difficult to put down once you start it. The romantic development between John and Julie however felt a bit contrived to me. But i was reminded by my friend that strong emotional connections do happen in short time when people are cooped up together. Other than that it is an awesome book and i think any one who likes science fiction should check it.
