Meaning, after the first two books, I pretty much alternated between disliking and enjoying the remainder of the series. It was so weird. I didn't like book three, liked book four, didn't care for book 5, liked book 6.....
I kept going because really, even the "bad" books were entertaining and I was hoping the pattern would continue and I would like the next book. It worked. Overall it's a pretty good series.
