That would be my guess. Werthead Send a noteboard - 07/10/2009 07:47:15 PM
...since he said he would only do that if space permitted. If the book is already this long, I don't see him voluntarily making it any longer than it needs to be. Sigh.

To be honest, this has not been a likely possibility for some time. He mentioned it very briefly four years ago when the book was still just supposed to be the flipside of AFFC. My guess is that now this has gone out the window. But you never know. It's possible some info might get in there.

And it is worth reiterating that at least two AFFC POV characters - Asha and Arya - will be in ADWD as well, so we at least don't have to wait another several years to find out what happened to Arya.

Would anyone else besides myself gladly give up the TV series for faster completion of the books? - 07/10/2009 12:43:20 PM 647 Views

I don't see how that would be relevent. If they canceled he might get disheartened. - 08/10/2009 05:07:23 AM 674 Views
Better that he be disheartened for a few weeks than have him spend months on scriptwriting, etc. - 08/10/2009 11:55:25 AM 591 Views

I'm also guessing this means there's little chance of resolving the cliffhangers from Feast. - 07/10/2009 05:34:39 PM 665 Views
That would be my guess. - 07/10/2009 07:47:15 PM 734 Views
