I haven't heard Abercrombie's name mentioned much lately on other sites I occasionally visit Larry Send a noteboard - 13/10/2016 05:54:07 PM

Just finished Half a King by Abercrombie (it was okay, and I enjoyed it more than The Blade Itself), started in on House of Shattered Wings by Aliette de Bodard (really enjoying it so far) and Sorcerer of the Wildeeps (not sure of this one yet, but the prose is very sharp).

Isn't that the "YA" book/series he was writing recently? Have heard good things about de Bodard before, though.

I have no idea how you manage to keep up intense reading along with your practice. - 12/10/2016 08:09:41 AM 1004 Views

If Bob Dylan's lyrics count as literature in the eyes of the Nobel committee, why not? - 13/10/2016 05:48:08 PM 856 Views
For a guy who used to be "Dylanfanatic" that sounded a bit disdainful *NM* - 25/10/2016 05:21:28 AM 554 Views
