I haven't bought many new books recently though the Loeb Library came out with a new 9-volume compilation of early Greek philosophy so I bought that, and a few books by Freud after enjoying the first half (roughly) of Die Traumdeutung (still reading it).

I still keep a list of what I'm reading in my profile so you can see this year's finished selections. I'm also inching through Seven Pillars of Wisdom by T.E. Lawrence because it's at my home in Westchester and I'm only up there on weekends to see my children. I don't feel like bringing it into Manhattan.

Didn't know Loeb was still producing new volumes. If I ever go back and (re)learn Latin and Greek, I might look into these.

I have no idea how you manage to keep up intense reading along with your practice. - 12/10/2016 08:09:41 AM 1094 Views

If Bob Dylan's lyrics count as literature in the eyes of the Nobel committee, why not? - 13/10/2016 05:48:08 PM 949 Views
For a guy who used to be "Dylanfanatic" that sounded a bit disdainful *NM* - 25/10/2016 05:21:28 AM 583 Views
