View original postI would ask what you were planning on reading, but that's passé. So here are more important questions:
View original post1. What are you going to put off reading for this month?
I actually finished a book this month - by reading for three hours on end until it was done. Sad to say, I can't remember the last time I did that...
Anyhow, the book in question was Elizabeth Gaskell's North and South, which was rather interesting. I might even review it, because it's not like that could make the board any deader than it already is, right?
View original post2. Have you been following the latest outrages/silliness involving the 2016 Hugo Award nominations?
Nope.
View original post3. Have you ever considered reading a Chuck Tingle e-book, whether it's the Hugo-nominated Space Raptor Butt Invasion or Pounded in the Butt by My Butt?
As tempting as you make it sound, I'm afraid the answer is and almost certainly will remain no.
View original post4. Did you know that the Library of America has begun publishing a series of volumes on the works of Ursula Le Guin?
I did not, but the only book of hers that I've read was excellent, and it's rather embarrassing that I've still not read any others.
View original post5. Do you have any desire to read the next ASOIAF book whenever it comes out?
Yes. I don't read a lot of fantasy anymore, but I'll buy and read that one.
View original post6. Did you know (without me telling you) that there is a big anthology of SF fiction from across the globe coming out in July called The Big Book of Science Fiction? (disclosure: I have a short translation that appears in there).
Well, I knew from your previous post, so I guess that means the honest answer is still no... nevertheless, as I mentioned at the time, it is tempting to try to restore my reading slump a bit by brushing up on my sci-fi.
View original post7. How many people do you think actually will post responses here?
Four, apparently. Or five if you count AA's reply to Tom.
