China's Millennials: The Want Generation by Eric Fish Vodalus Send a noteboard - 08/03/2016 10:27:00 PM

Recently finished the following:

Superpower: Three Choices for America's Role in the World by Ian Bremmer

I take issue with the way he presents some aspects of these different camps of thought, but the book did help to sharpen my ideas.

Catfish and Mandala by Andrew X. Pham

A nice break from my typical nonfiction choices, replete with adventure, humor and sadness.

Cockroaches by Jo Nesbo

Sure, a while back I said the whole Harry Hole thing didn't wow me. Somehow I wound up reading this on vacation, and I'm glad I did. Planning on getting book #3 soon.

I'll probably start my little Qing dynasty project shortly. First up will be Odd Arne Westad's Restless Empire: China and the World Since 1750.

南無阿弥陀仏!
