Run, don't walk, to Foucault's Pendulum. Tom Send a noteboard - 22/02/2016 08:42:32 PM

It's one of the best books I've read. Of course, after I recommended it to a friend he said he put it down because it was too obscure in its references. I just sort of assumed that my friend, who was odd and had played Dungeons & Dragons, was familiar with Rosicrucians, Templars, John Dee, Qabbalah, Candomble, and a whole host of other things occult.

Political correctness is the pettiest form of casuistry.

– Procopius

No offense to Harper Lee, but this eclipses her death by several orders of magnitude. - 20/02/2016 04:31:57 PM 904 Views
