There's a show based on the story coming out, and I'm wondering if there's any point to watching it. The premise sounds like the absurd nightmare of some of the more hysterical alarmist types, set in a Nazi occupied USA. Because the complete historical absence of small countries occupying larger, more technologically advanced countries suggests something really silly and stupid. I was just curious if there is any historical verisimilitude to the story at all, or if it's one of those things that works because it doesn't look too hard at its own premise, such as comic book physics. For a premise that silly to pass muster, the story would have to have a narrow focus on the characters, and not depend on the setting itself to make sense.
