Thankfully, I tend to be fairly good at selecting books to read out of descriptions and occasionally the recommendations of others (I tend to read books that a few author-friends of mine talk about positively on Facebook and Twitter). This was just a dud, but one that an author-reviewer friend of mine warned me about. The discussion of the book between the time I read it and wrote the review would make for interesting reading. However, that's a bit too private to post here. Suffice to say, this book was savaged even more there than here.
