I'm always torn when Cosmere stuff comes up.

On the one hand, I love stuff like that. All little bits intertwining, working together, interesting magics and worlds and plots, etc.

On the other hand, any time someone reviews a Stormlight book, there's always some time taken to discuss "The Cosmere," and I feel like it kind of distracts from the actual book itself. I also think Sanderson has this problem- he created some really cool stuff, and wants to show it, but that's not always conducive to a tightly written narrative.

Eh, whatever. Even though there are problems, there's something about Sanderson that makes me enjoy reading his stuff.
