God's War by Kameron Hurley
vN by Madeline Ashby
Both had somewhat mixed reviews, which kept me from picking them up for a while, but I really liked both, and wish I didn't listed to the detractors. Have you read these?
Haven't read the Ashby. But Hurley's novel I think is much better than the Leckie'.
