And I'm feeling very lukewarm about the whole experience.
I think that the series has suffered so far from high expectations. Lies seemed so fresh that the other two have lacked in comparison. I thought Red Skies had a very slow middle section (I've given up on previous retreads of it) but picked up towards the end, but I'm not sure that this had even that. It was very evenly paced throughout. and I very much disagree with your opinion on Sabetha. She just didn't seem ENOUGH.
I'm hoping that this is a staging book, that we'll look back at the end of the series and see how important it was in setting up relationships, and especially since the reveal in the epilogue. I just hope I continue to care long enough
