I wasn't sure what MB to post this, but I think this reaches the best audience.

It's a 10 minute, animated short, which shows a musical (non-spoken) version of the 1897 classic War of the Worlds. Excellent music choice, which really fits the mood of the movie. I also like the design of the tripods. The ones from Jeff Wayne's musical version were the ones I grew up with, but for some reason, these feel more in line with what Wells must have had in mind.

Be sure to also check the rest of his movies, because I think this is a shortened version of several other movies he (she?)'s made. No time for me to check this now, will have to do that after work. And if I ever have time: The Night America Trembled 1957 - H.G. Wells' War of the Worlds which I have not seen yet.
