So pleased to read the visit to Don Salvara at the beginning of chapter 3, but I actually can't remember whether that is what it seems or just the next step of Locke's plan. I suspect the latter, but the "dark shape" that follows Locke et al and the celebration scene that seems to happen at the same time are throwing me off. I wish I had a better memory. But maybe I don't, because it's kind of cool to have the same questions I'd have had the first time I read it.
