View original postNebula Award winners were announced and as far as the novel category goes, I've only read 2312 by Kim Stanley Robinson. Haven't even heard of any of the others.
View original postWondering if anyone else here as read any of them and if they would recommend them. After doing a cursory google search on each, can't say I'm too drawn to any of them, but wanted some opinions as well.
Sadly, I haven't read any of the contenders either, but I've heard many good things about N.K. Jemisin and Caitlin Kiernan. The Saladin Ahmed novel is an attempt to write fantasy with an Islamic medieval inspiration rather than a Christian one, if I recall correctly (as one might guess from the title and the author's name).
